I contracted Richard to manage a major renovation of my home in Bellevue Hill. Of the builders I interviewed I chose Richard because I felt he was the most straightforward and transparent, and felt he would give me good advice throughout the project. I was right. Richard delivered a home to us of great quality and finishes, and on time. I am almost unique amongst people I know, and ended the project a better friend with our builder than when we had started.

The sub-contractors Richard recommended to us were all professional and produced great quality work. Despite having a project manager, Richard was always on site, overlooking their work, and either accepting it or making them redo it.

Our home today still looks in almost new condition, which is a result of the quality build Richard managed from the outset. We would recommend Richard, without hesitation.

Richard, Matt and the team were engaged to undertake remedial and renovation works to our apartment after we were experiencing substantial water ingress issues. From the first meeting they were committed to finding an effective solution to the problem which was causing significant damage to the inside of our home. Richard explained to us in detail the cause and path forward. There has been no ingress since they completed the works, and a recent third party inspection of apartment complex confirmed the effectiveness of the work with no water or moisture present (despite the Sydney weather!)

Based on our experience with the remediation work we continued with Sydneyside Contracting to undertake extensive renovations to the interior and terraces of our apartment. While building work can be stressful, they were in constant communication, providing advice and recommendations on options. Richard and his team have exceptional attention to detail and delivered outstanding quality work. We are delighted with the results and would highly recommend the team at Sydneyside Contracting.
